CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT RICHARD A. "ANDY" KAISER
Chief Master Sergeant Richard A. "Andy" Kaiser is the Command Chief Master Sergeant for Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. He is the principal advisor to the commander and his senior staff on matters of health, welfare and morale, professional development, and the effective utilization of more than 43,000 active duty and 71,000 Air Force Reserve and Air National Guard enlisted personnel assigned to the command.
Chief Kaiser entered the Air Force in March 1984. Following technical training, he served as an environmental health specialist at K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base, Mich. He cross-trained into the Communications-Computer Systems Operations career field in 1988.
As a communications Airman, he served as data processing operator, training manager, technical school instructor and instructor supervisor, course developer, theater battle management NCOIC, information protection and network strategies manager, acting first sergeant, command and control systems flight superintendent, and unit support branch chief. He has also served as mission support group superintendent.
Chief Kaiser deployed extensively to multiple locations in Southwest Asia in support of Operations Southern Watch, Enduring and Iraqi Freedom. Before assuming his current position, Chief Kaiser served as the Command Chief Master Sergeant for United States Forces, Japan and Fifth Air Force.
