SOUTHWEST ASIA --   Air Mobility Command is engaged in the fight around the globe.  Most notable are the continuous air refueling efforts for Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.

As an example, on Aug. 10, Air Force officials with Air Forces Central-Forward said Air Force tankers flew 49 sorties and off-loaded approximately 2.6 million pounds of fuel to 217 receiving aircraft.
