During an aeromedical evacuation stop in Bahrain, flight nurse Capt. Nathan Ferguson checks on the comfort of a patient before the C-130 Hercules taxis for takeoff. By days end, 13 patients were picked up at five different locations and transported to waiting medical facilities through out the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. Senior Airman Earl Shelton, 721st Aircraft Maintenance Squadron aerospace maintenance technician, marshals a C-5M Super Galaxy into place at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, Jan. 24, 2017. After it was in place, 721st AMXS Airmen chocked the wheels, plugged it into a generator, checked tire pressure, refilled oil, and refueled the aircraft. On average, the 721st AMXS inspects, services, and repairs 30 aircraft in a single day, as part of the 521st Air Mobility Operations Wing at Ramstein.
