Our mission is to be the portal into Air Mobility Command where government and industry go to offer solutions to AMC's toughest problems. Our aim is to bridge the gap between various stakeholders including industry leaders, policymakers, researchers, and technology developers. By facilitating knowledge exchange, promoting partnerships, and addressing common challenges, we strive to accelerate the development and deployment of sustainable and efficient mobility solutions.
What is MILO?
The Mobility Industry Liaison Office serves as a central hub that facilitates collaboration, communication, and coordination between Air Mobility Command and Industry/DoD Solution Providers. Its primary role is to intake requests and disseminate information in order to foster partnerships and bridge the gap between industry leaders, policymakers, researchers, and technology developers.
Specifically, the Mobility Industry Liaison Office engages in the following activities:
- Collaboration and Networking: The office actively fosters collaboration by bringing together AMC and Industry through Spring Industry Preview (SIP), Fall Industry Panels (FIP), conferences, and engagements that facilitate opportunities. Our goal is to create a vibrant community where knowledge sharing and exchange of ideas thrive.
- Partnership Facilitation: MILO plays a vital role in connecting stakeholders from different sectors, fostering partnerships, and catalyzing collaboration. MILO identifies synergies, matches organizations with complementary goals, and facilitates cooperative projects and initiatives that drive innovation and progress.
- Problem Solving and Innovation Support: MILO serves as a resource for problem-solving and innovation support, helping stakeholders address common challenges and connects SMEs with industry partners.
