SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Gen. John W. Handy, commander of U.S. Transportation Command and Air Mobility Command, has announced AMC's Outstanding Airmen, who will go on to compete for honors in the 2004 Air Force 12 Outstanding Airmen and First Sergeant of the Year.
Nominees were announced during an April 15 banquet here honoring the 12 enlisted Airmen who competed at major command level. An AMC board of chief master sergeants selected one person from each category to represent the command in competition at Air Force level.
