    Dover AFB Innovation Lab 3D prints face shields to fight COVID-19 spread

    As the world continues to labor amidst the COVID-19 epidemic, Dover AFB has taken numerous precautions to aid in mitigating the spread of the virus and protect the community. As experts search for vaccines and other alleviating schemes, Airmen at Dover AFB have utilized available resources to provide another level of protection to those working on the base. Recently the Dover AFB innovation lab, BEDROCK, began 3D printing face shields in a continued effort to protect Airmen and community members from COVID-19 spread.

    MacDill supports joint force exercise

    Dover AFB partners with Delaware CAP for counter UAS testing

    This training exercise marked the first time an Air Force installation has partnered with the local Civil Air Patrol to test counter UAS capabilities: a culmination of almost two years of preparation and coordination among several different agencies, including the FAA, Dover AFB and the Delaware Civil Air Patrol. Such partnerships ensured training was conducted lawfully and safely, while minimizing its impact on real-world flight operations.

    436th CS unit marshals protect personnel, assets
