Welcome to the Spangdahlem Air Base Passenger Terminal

About Us

Welcome to the 726th Air Mobility Squadron passenger terminal!

We are located on Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany, about one hour northwest of Ramstein Air Base and approximately two hours from Frankfurt International Airport. There is a shuttle that travels to and from both locations for a fee that is managed by lodging.

Space Available seats and missions are often limited, so patience and flexibility are essential to travel in or out of Spangdahlem. The terminal itself is located on the perimeter road approximately three miles from lodging and the main part of base. There is also an in-flight kitchen available for snacks and drinks during regular hours of operation.

To allow for a smooth and stress-free travel experience, please take a moment to review the materials on the page.

Space-Available passengers must note that flights will not be advertised outside of normal operating hours, and due to regulations, the 726 AMS can only forecast aircraft departures three days prior.

Passenger terminal operating hours are based on runway or flight line hours. If the sponsor is traveling alone, the only documentation needed is leave paperwork, passports and identification card.

Duty Passengers

Duty passengers must be in line NO LATER THAN (NLT) **3 hrs** prior to scheduled departure. This will allow us ample time to complete passenger processing procedures. All passengers traveling on official orders to the United States are required a Covid-19 test within 72 hours of departure regardless of vaccination status or proof of recovery within the past 90 days

Duty Standby & Space Available Passengers

Space Available travel is back up and running! With that being said, please make sure you have all proper documentation with you if you plan to sign up for a flight. Also, please ensure you check the Foreign Clearance guide or give us a call to see if you require a Covid-19 test to fly to certain locations.

Roll calls are conducted at the AMC ticket counter 3 hours prior to departure. Due to medical screening, it is recommended that passengers arrive approximately one or two hours prior to roll call time, in order to ensure time for processing.

Space Available seats are often limited, therefor, passenger planning and flexibility is key to Space Available travel.

Passengers are reminded that baggage limitations are: 2 bags per individual, limited to 70 pounds max weight per bag and not to exceed the dimensions of 62 linear inches. Passengers may have one carry-on bag and one personal item that must fit under any aircraft seat.

We are committed to providing you the best possible service. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns during your visit.

Please see link below if you wish to sign up for Space Available travel at our terminal, thank you!
