Twenty-two Airmen from Scott Air Force Base hold the flag in Busch Stadium prior to a St. Louis Cardinals baseball game where they were invited to wave the American flag during the national anthem Sept. 20, 2012. Scott AFB has been involved in various shows during sporting events but this was the first time Airmen were invited out to display the flag for more than 34,000 people to see. SCOTT AIR FORCE ABSE Ill. -- Airmen from Scott Air Force Base, Ill., were invited to Busch Stadium in St. Louis, Mo., to display the American flag while the 4-Digit Chord acapella vocal group performed the national anthem prior to the beginning of the St. Louis Cardinals game against the Houston Astros Sept. 20, 2012. Scott AFB is involved with numerous professional sports in St. Louis, but this was the first time Airmen have presented this flag at Busch Stadium. 22 Airmen volunteered to hold the flag plus six members in the 4-Digit Chord performed for more than 34,000 fans attending the game.
