AMC announces command's winners for 2010 Outstanding Aircrew Flight Equipment Awards

Headquarters Air Mobility Command's Air, Space and Information Operations Directorate announced the command's winners for the 2010 Outstanding Aircrew Flight Equipment Awards on March 15.

In a message from the directorate's Chief Master Sgt. Rodney Welch, he states that "feedback from the boards indicated competition among the categories was intense."

"Which was just what we expected from the Air Force's hardest working AFE shops," Chief Welch said.

Following are the AMC Winners who will compete next at the Air Force level.

-- Outstanding AFE Officer of the Year -- Capt. Todd J. Salzwedel, 436th Operations Support Squadron, Dover AFB, Del.

-- Outstanding AFE Senior NCO of the Year -- Master Sgt. Jill A. Pratt, 436th OSS, Dover AFB, Del.

-- Outstanding AFE NCO of the Year -- Tech. Sgt. Craig A. Hall, 22nd Operations Support Squadron, McConnell AFB, Kan.

-- Outstanding AFE Airman of the Year -- Senior Airman Aris C. Livica, 22nd OSS, McConnell AFB, Kan.

-- Outstanding AFE Category II Civilian of the Year -- Mr. William L. Ricketts, 375th Operation Support Squadron, Scott AFB, Ill.

-- Outstanding AFE Category I Civilian of the Year -- Ms. Tina E. Brady, 60th Operations Support Squadron, Travis AFB, Calif.

-- Outstanding AFE Small Program of the Year -- 92nd Operations Support Squadron, Fairchild AFB, Wash.

-- Outstanding AFE Large Program of the Year -- 436th OSS, Dover AFB, Del.

-- Outstanding AFE Staff Member of the Year -- Senior Master Sgt. Jonathan C. Redfern, Headquarters AMC, Scott AFB, Ill.

Chief Welch said AMC is appreciative to all who supported this recent awards program effort.

"Thanks to each of our nominees, supervisors, coworkers and upper-level leadership for making this year another huge success," Chief Welch said.
