AMC announces 2010 comptroller, financial management awards

Air Mobility Command officials announced Dec. 8 the 2010 command award winners in comptroller and financial management fields.

In a message from Gen. Raymond E. Johns Jr., AMC commander, units individuals and offices were recognized for being the best in the command during fiscal year 2010.

"It is my pleasure to announce the annual Air Mobility Command financial management and comptroller award winners for fiscal year 2010," General Johns said in the message. "Hard work, dedication and professionalism make each of them worthy recipients of these prestigious awards."

Following are the award winners:

-- Maj. Gen. Frank R. Faykes Financial Management Comptroller of the Year -- Lt. Col. Brian C. Hoybach, 92nd Comptroller Squadron, Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash.

-- Financial Management Comptroller Organization of the Year -- 6th Comptroller Squadron, MacDill AFB, Fla.

-- Financial Management Company Grade Officer of the Year -- 1st Lt. William M. Miller, 43rd Comptroller Squadron, Pope AFB, N.C.

-- Chief Master Sgt. Larry P. Gonzales Superintendent of the Year -- Master Sgt. Nyle F. Smith, III, 436th Comptroller Squadron, Dover AFB, Del.

-- Financial Management Senior NCO of the Year -- Master Sgt. Kaci K. Duhart, 22 Comptroller Squadron, McConnell AFB, Kan.

-- Financial Management NCO of the Year -- Tech. Sgt. Carnella Brown, 92nd CPTS, Fairchild AFB, Wash.

-- Financial Management Airman of the Year -- Senior Airman Jesse A. Hughes, 62nd Comptroller Squadron, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash.

-- Financial Management Civilian of the Year (GS-8 and below) -- Kaitlyn M. Borozinski, 19th Comptroller Squadron, Little Rock AFB, Ark.

-- Financial Management Civilian of the Year (GS-9 and above) -- Pamela A. Porsch, 22nd CPTS, McConnell AFB, Kan.

-- Financial Analysis Office of the Year -- Financial Analysis Flight, 6th CPTS, MacDill AFB, Fla.

-- Financial Services Office of the Year -- Financial Services Flight, 19th CPTS, Little Rock AFB, Ark.

-- Resource Advisor of the Year, Major Command Level -- Paula J. Hadeler, Air Mobility Command Headquarters Communications Directorate, Scott AFB, Ill.

-- Resource Advisor of the Year, Installation Level - Tech. Sgt. Jeremy T. Lemaire, 817th Contingency Response Group, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J.

-- Outstanding Contribution to Financial Management and Comptroller, Officer, Major Command Level - Maj. Susan M. Sheets, AMC Headquarters Financial Management, Scott AFB, Ill.

-- Outstanding Contribution to Financial Management and Comptroller, Civilian, Major Command Level -- Stephen A. Urick, AMC Headquarters Financial Management, Scott AFB, Ill.

-- Outstanding Contribution to Financial Management and Comptroller, Enlisted, Major Command Level -- Master Sgt. Antwan D. Carlisle, AMC Headquarters Financial Management, Scott AFB, Ill.

-- Special Acts and Services Award:

"These individuals and organizations can be justly proud of their accomplishments. Our AMC winners will compete for Air Force-level comptroller awards. SAF/FM will announce the results of the Air Force-wide competition. We wish each winner the best of luck in the Air Force-level competition."
