Johns, Jr., Commander of Air Mobility Command, is scheduled to visit the Maine National Guard's 101st Air Refueling Wing at Bangor on Nov. 4. "I look forward to meeting with the Airmen from the state of Maine. These Airmen are key to our nation's ability to deliver global reach. I also look forward to meeting with Maine's Congressional delegation and governor during my visit," Gen. Johns said. Air Reserve Component Airmen continue to be a seamless and integrated element of the mobility air forces and have made tremendous contributions to our national defense. The Northeast Tanker Task Force, of which the 101st ARW is a part, has underpinned the Air Force's ability to successfully move warfighters and their materials to and from Iraq and Afghanistan.
