SLIDESHOW: McChord Field receives new C-17 Globemaster III

JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. --  McChord Field received a new C-17 Globemaster III Aug. 20 from Long Beach Factory, Calif. The new aircraft is the 52nd C-17 Globemaster III assigned to McChord Field.

"We're always grateful to take delivery of a new aircraft," said Col. Kevin Kilb, 62nd Airlift Wing commander. "This new aircraft will increase our nation's capacity and capability to execute our Airlift mission."
