Deployed KC-10 Extender returns from air refueling mission
A flight crew guides a KC-10 Extender from the 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron to the parking ramp for the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing after returning from a combat air refueling mission from a non-disclosed base in Southwest Asia on March 18, 2010. This KC-10 is from the 60th Air Mobility Wing at Travis Air Force Base, Calif. In 2009, KC-10s from the 380th AEW and the 908th EARS flew 4,760 combat sorties offl-loading 422,222,300 pounds of fuel to 31,434 aircraft. In the same year, the KC-10s and their crews accumulated 40,011 hours of flight time.
