OSS awarded for Aircrew Flight Equipment excellence

The 319th Operations Support Squadron was recently presented the award for Outstanding Air Mobility Command Aircrew Flight Equipment Small Program of the Year.

The 319th OSS Aircrew Flight Equipment was recognized for their contributions to the AFE program from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2009.

"The men and women of this squadron displayed professionalism and a commitment to excellence in performing outstanding service to the aircrew flight equipment community, Air Mobility Command and the United States Air Force," said Master Sgt. Tony M. Groves, 319th OSS.

That commitment included deploying for 1,036 days, supporting more than 13,582 combat flight hours for Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom as well as coordinating a massive Base Realignment and Closure effort by processing and redistributing more than $450,000 and 36,000 pounds of assets throughout the Air Force.
