Command announces 2009 AMC Communication Excellence Awards

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. --  Air Mobility Command Public Affairs recently announced the winners of the 2009 AMC Communication Excellence Awards. These annual awards recognize both organizations and individuals who have shown excellence in communication, outstanding achievement and innovation through Public Affairs, Band and Multimedia (photography/broadcasting).

The winners are:

Best Wing Communication Program - 87th Air Base Wing Public Affairs, McGuire AFB, N.J.

Best Communication Effectiveness Award - 60th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs, Travis AFB, Calif.

Best Issues Management Award - 19th Airlift Wing Public Affairs, Little Rock AFB, Ark.

Best Integrated Communication Award - 375th AMW Public Affairs, Scott AFB, Ill.

Best Innovative Communication Program Award - 22nd Air Refueling Wing Public Affairs, McConnell AFB, Kan.
