Johns Jr. Air Mobility Command Commander SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- It is with great sadness that we received the news today of the passing of Gen. Paul K. Carlton, a great Airman, warrior, and former commander of Air Mobility Command. His accomplishments as a commander will be remembered and honored; he embodied the core values of integrity, service before self, and excellence. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to General Carlton's family in this difficult time from all of us in Air Mobility Command. They will be in our thoughts and prayers, and it is our hope they will find strength and comfort in knowing their Air Force family is grieving with them.
