Photo essay: Fueling the fight -- Deployed KC-10 Extenders refuel aircraft over Afghanistan

KC-10 Extender air refueling planes assigned to the 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron here support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom and Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. 

Recently, the KC-10s of the 908th EARS were shown performing refueling operations over Afghanistan for OEF.  The 908th EARS is one of 12 squadrons assigned to the 380th Air Expeditionary Wing.

The 380th AEW provides intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and aerial refueling in support of OEF, OIF and JTF-HOA.  See the related photos for more on the recent action.
