SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Staff Sgt. Daniel Bowles recently escorted media reporter Mr. David Wood into Afghanistan to cover forces involved in Operation Enduring Freedom. Sergeant Bowles and Mr. Wood flew on a C-5 Galaxy to Ramstein Air Base, Germany, and then a KC-135 Stratotanker for the final flight into Afghanistan. Both missions were planned, scheduled and executed by the 618th Tanker Airlift Control Center, here.
