AMC Announces Outstanding Airmen for 2007 Published May 8, 2008 SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- The Air Mobility Command announced its outstanding Airmen and First Sergeant of the Year for 2007. More than 200 people from AMC bases gathered to honor the command's top 12 Airmen and witness the announcement of the final four who will represent AMC at the Air Force level competition. The AMC nominees for the 12 Outstanding Airmen of the Year at the Air Force level are: Airman of the Year - Senior Airman April Robinson, McConnell AFB, Kan. NCO of the Year - Tech. Sgt. James B. Caughron, McConnell AFB, Kan. SNCO of the Year - MSgt Keith A. Turney, MacDill AFB, Fla. First Sergeant of the Year - MSgt Ronald D. Beadles, Grand Forks AFB, N.D. "All four are stellar representatives of AMC's great enlisted force and are most deserving of recognition as the command's best of the best," said Gen. Arthur Lichte, commander Air Mobility Command.
