AMC announces senior officer retirement, assignments

Col. Victor J. Vaccaro, deputy inspector general, Headquarters AMC, Scott AFB, will retire in September.

Senior leader assignments:

Colonel Glen A. Apgar, vice commander, 379th Air Expeditionary Wing, will replace Colonel Vaccaro as deputy inspector general, Hq. AMC, Scott AFB, effective in August.

Colonel Michel L. Bunning, command public health officer, Office of the Command Surgeon, Hq. AMC, Scott AFB, will become commander, 59th Aeromedical-Dental Squadron, Lackland AFB, Texas, effective in June.

Colonel Deneice L. Van Hook, director, Operational Health Division, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Pentagon, Washington, D.C., will replace Colonel Bunning, effective in June.

Colonel George P. Johnson, deputy commander, 60th Medical Group, Travis AFB, Calif., will replace Colonel Van Hook, effective in July.

Colonel Kenneth F. Desrosier, commander, 8th Medical Group, Kunsan AB, Korea, will replace Colonel Johnson, effective in July.

Colonel Don D. Davis, chief, Financial Analysis Division, Office of the Comptroller, Hq. AFMC, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, will become comptroller, Hq. AMC, Scott AFB, effective in July.

Colonel Diane R. Hull, vice commander, 380th Air Expeditionary Wing, Al Dhafra AB, United Arab Emirates, will become senior controller, Directorate of Operations, Tanker Airlift Control Center, Scott AFB, effective in September.

Colonel Halifax C. King, commander, 81st Medical Operations Squadron, Keesler AFB Miss., will become deputy commander, 375th Medical Group, Scott AFB, effective in August.

Lt. Col. Mona Lisa D. Tucker, deputy commander, 89th Communications Group, Andrews AFB, Md., will become chief, Plans, Policy and Resources Division, Directorate of Communications and Information, Hq. U.S. Air Forces in Europe, Ramstein AB, Germany, effective in June.

Colonel Crescencio Torres, commander, 52nd Aerospace Medicine Squadron, Spangdahlem AB, Germany, will become commander, 6th AMDS, MacDill AFB, Fla., effective in July.

Lt. Col. James M. Weber, chief, Maintenance Policy Division, Directorate of Logistics, Hq. AMC, Scott AFB, will become chief, Logistics Readiness Division, Directorate of Logistics, Hq. AMC, Scott AFB, effective in July. He will replace Colonel Edward Skibinski, who was previously announced.

Col. Michael C. Yusi, commander, AMC Regional Supply Squadron, Scott AFB, will become chief, Materiel Readiness Division, Directorate of Logistics, Hq. AMC, Scott AFB, effective in July. He will replace Colonel Sid P. Banks, who was previously announced.

Lt. Col. Joan H. Cornuet, Air Force Fellow, RAND Corporation, Santa Monica, Calif., replace Colonel Yusi, effective in July.
