AMC names civil engineer, environmental award nominees

Air Mobility Command recently named the nominees for the 2005 Air Force-level General Thomas D. White awards and Air Force Outstanding Civil Engineer Environmental Flight Award. The awards recognize installations, teams and individuals for environmental excellence.

The nominees are:

Environmental Quality Award (non-industrial): 92nd Civil Engineer Squadron, Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash.

Restoration Award (all installations): 43rd CES, Pope AFB, N.C.

Natural Resources Conservation Award (small base): 92nd CES, Fairchild AFB.

Cultural Resources Management Award (all installations): 43rd CES, Pope AFB.

Environmental Quality Award (individual/team): 92nd CES, Fairchild AFB.

Restoration Award (individual/team): Lawrence Olderbak, 319th CES, Grand Forks AFB, N.D.

Pollution Prevention Acquisition Award (individual/team): 89th CES, Andrews AFB, Md.

Natural Resources Conservation Award (individual/team): Kristen Rundquist, 319th CES, Grand Forks AFB.
