Travis captures command-level Hennessy Award Published Jan. 5, 2006 SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. (AMCNS) -- The Sierra Inn at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., is Air Mobility Command's 2006 Services Hennessy Award winner in the single-facility category. The 60th Services Squadron facility will represent AMC as the command's single-facility nominee in the Air Force competition. According to AMC senior leaders, the command will not have a multiple-facility nominee for 2006. In a message released this month, Brig. Gen. Del R. Eulberg, commander of AMC Installation and Mission Support, said the competition was tough, but Team Travis' enthusiastic teamwork, innovative programs, and formula for success in providing customer-driven program excellence edged out a formidable field of competitors. "I am extremely proud of the men and women of the 60th Services Squadron and wish them luck as they go forward to compete at the Air Force level," added the general.
