Air Mobility Command, AFA sponsor Industry Day 2004

  • Published
Air Mobility Command and the Air Force Association are sponsoring the fourth annual AMC Industry Day Sep 1 and 2 at Scott AFB.

Through Industry Day 2004, command representatives will provide information on AMC’s strategic roadmap to industry and academia in a symposium-like atmosphere.

This day provides an excellent opportunity for industry and the academic sector to help bridge the gap for tomorrow’s future. The symposium allows them to gain a first-hand understanding of AMC’s near-, mid- and long-term priorities and the direction of the command’s strategic mission.

By sharing the future vision with leaders of industry and academia, AMC hopes to give them the opportunity to match their strategies with the command’s strategic mission view. The ultimate goals are effective products, at affordable costs, ready to perform the mission when AMC needs them to support the national military strategy.

More information about AMC Industry Day 2004 and registration forms are available on the AFA’s Scott’s Memorial Chapter Web site at http://www.scottafa.org. There is limited seating, so it will be first come, first serve bases. The AMC point of contact is Lt Col David Sprague at (618) 229-2269 or DSN 779-2269. He can also be reached by e-mail at David.Sprague-02@scott.af.mil.
