AMC announces its outstanding Airmen for 2004

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. --   Air Mobility Command has announced its Outstanding Airmen and First Sergeant of the Year finalists for 2004. They are:

Airman category:

Senior Airman Ursula A. Etterling, 437th Airlift Wing, Charleston AFB, S.C.

Staff Sgt. Terrence A. Raybon, 60th Air Mobility Wing, Travis AFB, Calif.

Staff Sgt. Brandon C. Pugh, 43rd AW, Pope AFB, N.C.

Noncommissioned officer category:

An AMC board will select one person from each category to compete at Air Force level. Nominees for the Air Force competition will be announced during the command's Outstanding Airmen/First Sergeant of the Year Banquet April 14 at the Scott AFB Club. The theme for this year's banquet is, "Setting Standards by Exceeding Expectations."

In addition to the Outstanding Airmen and First Sergeant of the Year finalists, AMC also named the 2004 Honor Guard Member and Program Manager of the Year, and the First Sergeant Council and Honor Guard Team of the Year award winners.  They are:

Honor Guard Member of the Year: Senior Airman Trevor A. Morden, 436th AW, Dover AFB, Del.

Honor Guard Program Manager of the Year: Tech. Sgt. Anthony P. Meder, 62nd AW, McChord AFB

Honor Guard Team of the Year: Travis AFB

First Sergeant Council of the Year: Scott AFB
