AMC officials announce senior officer retirement, assignments

Air Mobility Command officials announced the following senior officer retirement and assignments:

Senior officer retirement:

Col. Henry A. Haisch Jr., director, operations management, Tanker Airlift Control Center, Scott AFB, will retire effective in June.

Senior officer assignments:

Col. Scott P. Goodwin, commander, 463rd Airlift Group, Little Rock AFB, Ark., will become commander, 374th Airlift Wing, Yokota Air Base, Japan, effective in April.

Col. John J. Gomez, chief, Commanders Action Group, Headquarters AMC, Scott AFB, will replace Colonel Goodwin, effective in April.

Col. Michael S. Stough, commander, 615th Air Mobility Operations Group, Travis AFB, Calif., will become deputy chief operations division, 3rd Air Force, RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom, effective in April.

Col. Michael O. Riddle, commander, 437th Maintenance Group, Charleston AFB, S.C., will become commander, 374th MXG, Yokota AB, Japan, effective in July.

Col. Grace M. Blevins-Holman, commander, 386th Expeditionary Maintenance Group, Ali Al Salem AB, Kuwait, will replace Colonel Riddle, effective in July.

Lt. Col. John M. Meek, deputy commander, 721st AMOG, Ramstein AB, Germany, will replace Colonel Blevins-Holman, effective in June.

Col. Michael J. Saville, commander, 319th MXG, Grand Forks AFB, N.D., will become commander, 100th MXG, RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom, effective in September.

Col. David S. Gillette, commander, Air Mobility Battlelab, Air Mobility Warfare Center, Fort Dix, N.J., will become commander and professor of aerospace studies, Air Force Reserve Office Training Corps, Detachment 730, University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pa., effective in July.

Col. Gordon J. Jacobs, commander, 727th Air Mobility Squadron, RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom, will become commander, 332nd Expeditionary Operations Group, effective in June.

Col. Kenneth M. Konicki, commandant, U.S. Air Force Mobility Operations School, AMWC, Fort Dix, will become commander and professor of aerospace studies, AFROTC Det. 670, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Okla., effective in July.

Col. Francis W. Sick Jr., commander, 60th Operations Group, Travis AFB, will become commander and professor of aerospace studies, AFROTC Det. 410, University of St. Thomas, Saint Paul, Minn., effective in July.
