(AMCNS) Air Mobility Command Wing Operational Readiness Inspections are open book tests, according to the AMC Inspector General, Brig. Gen. Mar Published June 22, 2005 Air Mobility Command Wing Operational Readiness Inspections are open book tests, according to the AMC Inspector General, Brig. Gen. Mark Zamzow. The inspections are open book tests right up to the time we show up with the black hats firmly in place, he said. Resources that are part of that open book include entries from previous inspections inputted into the AMC Inspector General Performance Reporting System. Weve made the IGPRS available to all of our AMC and gained units. The staff at each unit can easily sort through the data available online, said General Zamzow. IGPRS data gets to all layers of the inspection onion below the metrics and are available right now. The general said data for every task evaluated for every inspection since 2001 is available through IGPRS, and users can use query and filter options to sort through thousands of entries in a few minutes. Searches can be conducted on units, grades, event or other parameters. The IGPRS includes inspector write ups for each task and item evaluated for every type of inspection, including Wing ORIs, Unit Compliance Inspections, Readiness Assessments and Initial Response. Units can gain access to IGPRS on the AMC/IG Web site through their wing IG or plans and programs staff. The Web site contains a great deal of useful information, said General Zamzow. In addition to the IGPRS, which provides reports and tracks trends, the site also has links to the AMC Command Inspection Calendar, instructions and pamphlets, best practices and benchmarks, the list of inspectable Unit Type Codes, and information on our augmentee and observer programs.
