AMC officials announce senior officer assignments Published Jan. 6, 2004 SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Air Mobility Command officials have announced the following senior officer assignments:Colonel Russell J. Frasz, Vice Commander, 89th Airlift Wing, Andrews AFB, Md., will become Chief, War and Mobilization Plans Division, Deputy Chief of Staff for Air and Space Operations, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon, Washington, D.C., effective January 2004.Colonel John R. Ranck Jr., Commander, 89th Operations Group, Andrews AFB, will replace Colonel Frasz, effective January 2004.Colonel James R. Pavlisin, Chief, Joint Operations Division, Directorate of Operations and Logistics, Hq. U.S. Transportation Command, Scott AFB, will replace Colonel Ranck, effective January 2004.Colonel Gregory P. Cook, Special Assistant to the Commander, 21st Expeditionary Mobility Task Force, McGuire AFB, N.J., will become Chief, Studies, Analysis, and Gaming Division, Directorate of Force Structure, Resources and Assessment, The Joint Staff, Pentagon, Washington, D.C., effective January 2004.
