AMC officials announce senior officer assignments, retirement

Air Mobility Command officials have announced the following senior officer assignments and retirement:

Senior officer assignments:

Brig. Gen. Bradley S. Baker, Commander, 60th Air Mobility Wing, Travis AFB, Calif., will become Vice Commander, Fifth Air Force, Pacific Air Forces, Yokota Air Base, Japan.

Col. Ben McCollum II, Deputy Chief, Aircraft Maintenance Division, Directorate of Logistics, Hq. AMC, Scott AFB, will replace Colonel Lee, effective April 2004.

Col. James E. Rennie, Vice Commander, 15th Expeditionary Mobility Task Force, Travis AFB CA, will become Chief, Strategic Deployment Division, Hq. U.S. Central Command, MacDill AFB, Fla., effective March 2004.

Col. Bruce A. Busler, Vice Commander, 436th Airlift Wing, Dover AFB DE, will replace Colonel Rennie, effective March 2004.

Col. Glen G. Joerger, Deputy Director of Operations, Hq. U.S. Transportation Command, Scott AFB, will replace Colonel Busler, effective April 2004.

Col. Richard C. Johnston, Commander, 317th Airlift Group, Dyess AFB, Texas, will replace Colonel Joerger, effective March 2004.

Col. Paul J. Montgomery, Commander, 612th Combat Plans Squadron, Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz., will replace Colonel Johnston, effective March 2004.

Col. Richard D. Webster, Senior Director of Operations, Tanker Airlift Control Center, Scott AFB, will become Senior Chief, Deployment Distribution Operations Center, Hq. USTRANSCOM, Scott AFB, effective January 2004.

Senior officer retirement:

Col. David B. Lee, Commander, 89th Maintenance Group, Andrews AFB, Md., will retire effective 1 July 2004.
