AMC announces senior officer assignments

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. --   Air Mobility Command officials have announced the following senior officer assignments:

Col. Scott A. Miller, Deputy Commander, 62nd Maintenance Group, McChord AFB, Wash., will become Commander, NATO E-3A Logistics Group, Geilenkirchen, Germany, effective in August.

Col. James J. Wendling, Chief, Assignments Division, Directorate of Personnel, Headquarters Air Mobility Command, Scott AFB, will become Vice Commander, 386th Air Expeditionary Wing, Ali Al Salem AB, Kuwait, effective in August.

Col. William H. Martin Jr., Chief, Environmental Programs Division, Directorate of Installations and Mission Support, Hq. AMC, Scott AFB, will become Commander, 377th Mission Support Group, Kirtland AFB, NM, effective in July.

Col. Philip F. Waring, Chief, Supply Division, Directorate of Logistics, Hq. AMC, Scott AFB, will become Program Manager to the Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Logistics and Materiel Readiness, Pentagon, Washington, D.C., effective in July.
