AMC announces senior officer assignments Published Nov. 24, 2004 SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. -- Air Mobility Command officials announced the following senior officer assignments:Col. Frank J. Kisner, commander, 43rd Airlift Wing, Pope AFB, N.C. will become director, Plans and Programs, Headquarters Pacific Air Forces, Hickam AFB, Hawaii. Colonel Kisner has been selected for promotion to brigadier general.Col. Darren W. McDew, chief, Senate Liaison Office, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force, the Pentagon, Washington, D.C., will become commander, 43rd Airlift Wing, effective January. He will replace Colonel Kisner.Col. Barbara J. Faulkenberry, commander, 375th Airlift Wing, Scott AFB, will become commander, Squadron Officer College, Maxwell AFB, Ala., effective in January.Col. Raymond J. Rottman, commander, 19th Air Refueling Group, Robins AFB, Ga., will replace Colonel Faulkenberry, effective in January.Col. Steven W. Bernard, deputy commander, 22nd Operations Group, McConnell AFB, Kan., will replace Colonel Rottman, effective in January.Col. Ronald L. Watkins, director of staff and inspector general, 43rd Airlift Wing, Pope AFB, N.C., will become chief, Battlefield Airmen Division, Hq. Air Combat Command, Langley AFB, Va., effective in December.Col. Shelley D. Christian, commander, 375th Mission Support Group, Scott AFB, will become commandant, Hq. U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Operations School, Air Mobility Warfare Center, Fort Dix, N.J., effective in January. She will replace Col. Joan Cunningham, who was previously announced.
