This exercise not only demonstrates Air Mobility Command's partnership with the Army, but with NATO allies in Europe.  As the air component of U.S. Transportation Command, 18th Air Force (Air Forces Transportation) works with sister services and allies to provide airlift, aerial refueling and aeromedical evacuation to friendly forces across the globe. Mobility Air Forces stand ready with our NATO and Total Force partners to act decisively when called upon. This exercise demonstrates Air Mobility's Command ability to work hand-in-hand with joint and total force partners in order to accomplish whatever mission the nation requires of us. America's Global Response Force provides combatant commanders with critical options to respond to international crises, but cannot do so without trained and validated support from its joint Air Force partners. Exercise Trident Juncture/Ultimate Reach is another example of this constant training.
