Delivery: Airman traverses the base with letters and parcels
Airman 1st Class Victoria Moore checks a package for bombs or chemicals July 29, 2014 at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. If the box contains a bomb, the entire building is evacuated. If the box contains a chemical, everyone except personnel standing within five feet of the parcel must exit the building. Before being released to go outside, the remaining personnel must first be cleared by biochemical engineering. Security personnel isolate and remove the container in both cases.
