Band of Mid-America wants YOU in the band!

SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. --  Have you ever wanted to perform with the U.S. Air Force Band of Mid-America?

Anyone interested can download Philip Sousa's Stars and Stripes Forever from the Band of Mid-America's website, www.bandofmidamerica.af.mil, and upload a video of themselves playing.

On Sept. 11, the newest members of the band can log into YouTube to see themselves playing with the Band of Mid-America at https://www.youtube.com/user/USAFBoMA.  

The deadline for submissions is 11:59 PM Central Daylight Time on Aug. 24.

Military members should wear their Airman Battle Uniforms or sister-service eqivalent. Other band members should wear dark clothing or a shirt with your band logo. Anyone else should wear dark clothing free of logos or words.

Remember, you're the star, so only one person per video.

Once your video is uploaded to YouTube, email the band at bandofmidamerica@gmail.com to ensure it was recieved. Also, anyone under 18 should attached a permission form.
