  • AMC conducts first MAJCOM-wide MDT training course

    During the five-week span, 14 Airmen from various MDTs representing the 89th, 22nd, 375th, 618th, 87th, 628th, and 60th Communications Squadrons completed a mission-tailored program specializing in cyber defense. These Airmen, representing every MDT in AMC, tailored skills ranging from network traffic analysis to cyber threat detection and mitigation.

  • U.S. Transportation Command recognized by the National Security Agency for setting the standard in securing, safeguarding, and strengthening its cyber infrastructure

    Cyber professionals serving with U.S. Transportation Command epitomize the overarching message of this year’s National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, observed in October, of Own IT, Secure IT, Protect IT. Last month, they received recognition from the National Security Agency for setting the standard in securing, safeguarding, and strengthening the global, warfighting combatant command’s cyber networks.

  • Charlotte ANG receives first C-17 from JB Charleston

    The first of four C-17 Globemaster IIIs was transferred from Joint Base Charleston to the Charlotte Air National Guard, N.C. April 7, 2018 as part of a congressional mandate. Through this directive Joint base Charleston will send 16 C-17s to four Air National Guard bases.
  • Airmen, Soldiers conquer subzero temps during Arctic Pegasus

    JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, Wash. — Members from the 62nd Airlift Wing teamed up with Soldiers for to take part in Exercise Arctic Pegasus from March 11 to 14 in Alaska. During this four-day exercise, Airmen assigned to the 7th and 8th Airlift Squadrons braved bitter winds and freezing temperatures transporting approximately 30 Soldiers and Interim Armored Strykers using C-17 Globemaster IIIs.
