OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM -- A sailor from the U.S. Navy Mobile Naval Construction Battalion 113 Seabees in Gulfport, Mississippi, provides perimeter security for a C-17A Globemaster III aircraft from the 437th Airlift Wing at Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., at an operating location in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. C-17 aircrews from the 437th AW airlanded and infilled the Seabees, making it the first ever successful strategic airlift operation by a C-17 aircraft into an undeveloped dirt landing strip.
