The KC-135 Stratotanker Boom Operator Weapon System Trainer uses a series of laser aligned projected images that incorporate state of the art technology to depict locations through latitude and longitudinal coordinate inputs. Boom operators that are training in the simulator lay belly down and peer through a viewing window just as they do in the actual aircraft. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Brandon Shapiro)
