U.S.A.F. Band of Mid-America holds master class at Murray State University

Drummer and Percussionist SSgt Jody Walker works one-on-one with a student at a master class between the Band of Mid-America bandsmen and student musicians of the Murray State University Jazz Band on March 27, 2012. In addition to active duty obligations, many bandsmen of the Air Force Regional Band program are certified teachers and professors who bring their off-duty abilities into uniform to fulfill the objectives of the AF Band Program. By providing Master Classes and clinics to our regional community, the Band of Mid-America advances the professional reputation of the Air Force and enables students toward musical excellence in a fun and personable way.
