Fuel-Efficient Routes
New routes mark a new era of efficiency for mobility aircraft flying around the world to help those in need. For example, in summer 2011 a KC-135 from Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash., flew over the North Pole for the first time on a new route to Manas Air Base, Kyrgyzstan.
