Air Mobility Command remembers Sept. 11, 2001
A security forces Airman is seen on the first anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks at Grand Forks Air Force Base, N.D., on Sept. 11, 2002. Grand Forks AFB, home to the 319th Wing which was Air Mobility Command's 319th Air Refueling Wing on Sept. 11, 2001, was one of many AMC bases that responded to the terrorist attacks of that day. Ten years later, on Sept. 11, 2011, AMC Airmen are among all Americans who reflect on the actions of that day and how the nation has responded since then.
