Israeli chief serves as umpire at Rodeo 2011
Chief Master Sgt. Itzhak Nevo stands in front of a C-130 Hercules at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash., on July 28, 2011. The chief is the sole representative from Israel at the Air Mobility Rodeo 2011 competition, where he is serving as an umpire. Nevo has been a C-130 maintainer since 1975, longer than many of the people at Rodeo have been alive, but his vast experience with the airframe is exactly why he made the perfect judge, according to his peers.
