McConnell KC-135 on display at 2010 Airpower Over The Midwest Airshow

People attending the 2010 Airpower Over The Midwest Airshow line up to look at a static display of a KC-135R Stratotanker on Sept. 11, 2010, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill. The KC-135R is from the 22nd Air Refueling Wing at McConnell AFB, Kan. The KC-135 Stratotanker provides the core aerial refueling capability for the United States Air Force and has excelled in this role for more than 50 years. This asset enhances the Air Force's capability to accomplish its primary missions of Global Reach and Global Power. It also provides aerial refueling support to Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps and allied nation aircraft.
