Capt. Cory Damon, 9th Airlift Squadron C-5M Super Galaxy pilot based out of Dover AFB, Delaware, speaks to Dr. Samuel Ting (right) and other scientists and engineers Aug. 25, 2010, at the Geneva, Switzerland, airport about the C-5M and how it is the perfect choice for transporting the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer from Geneva to Cape Canaveral, Fla. The AMS is the brain child of Nobel Laureate Doctor Ting and has been in production over the last 16 years. The purpose of the experiment is to detect and analyze particles found in space while docked to the International Space Station. According to Doctor Ting, this should help the scientific community "better understand the universe" and how it was created. (U.S. Air Force Photo/Staff Sgt. Ryan Crane)
