Change of Command

Lt. Gen. Robert R. Allardice, 18th Air Force commander, pins the Distinguished Service Medal on Maj. Gen. Mark S. Solo during a change of command ceremony at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., today. General Solo, who commanded the 618th Tanker Airlift Control Center since June 2008, will move on to Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, where he’s been selected as the next 19th Air Force commander.
