Aerial delivery facility improvements roll out 3,400 strong

Stage one: The hook and crane is where it all begins. Installed as part of the new rear overhang, the crane skims along a set track to and from off-load trucks, eliminating the need for forklifts used in the previous temporary facility. The crane is now the only one required at the facility, and the ceiling height provides adequate headroom for a safe transfer. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Daniel Bowles)
