Two deployed KC-10 pilots find more in common than flying combat air refueling missions
Maj. June Cruse, 908th Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron operations officer, and Capt. Nate St. Louis, 908th EARS assistant operations officer, are both KC-10 Extender pilots and are shown here on the flight deck of a KC-10 at a non-disclosed base in Southwest Asia. They are both deployed to the 908th EARS from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., and they both are from the same county -- Rowan County -- in North Carolina. Additionally, each is a graduate of the Air Force Academy. Major Cruse is deployed from the 32nd Air Refueling Squadron at Joint Base MDL, and Captain St. Louis is from Joint Base MDL's 2nd ARS.
