Transition to return tower to Haitian controllers begins
In the mobile control tower Feb. 2, Nadia Adma, Haitian controller, observes tower operations from (left) Tech. Sgt. Robert Stewart, 260th Air Traffic Control Squadron air traffic controller, and (right) Tech. Sgt. Jerry Scurlock, 258th ATCS air traffic controller. Haitian controllers will observe the Air Force controllers for two weeks and then the Haitian controllers will run the tower with the Air Force as advisers for two weeks or until they feel comfortable taking over all flight responsibilities.
