Staff Sgt. Whitney Armstrong chains down cargo on a McChord AFB, Wash., C-17 in Toledo, Ohio, Jan. 30. The C-17 from McChord AFB took off from Charleston AFB to pick up cargo in Ohio before departing to Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Pallets and cargo must be precisely aligned along floor rollers in order to perform a smooth transfer of cargo onto the aircraft.
