Pearl Smalls is a housekeeper with the Inns of Charleston here. As a housekeeper her daily duties include cleaning rooms and accommodating customers, as well as making sure customers have everything they need. Since the disaster in Haiti, Mrs. Smalls has had an increase in her workload because of the influx of aircrews from across the Air Force staying in the base billeting. According to officials with the 628th Force Support Squadron, the Inns of Charleston is the busiest lodging operation in Air Mobility Command. Mrs. Smalls stated that she is very honored knowing that she can play a part in the mission. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Katie Gieratz)(RELEASED)
