Haiti air delivery mission

Anderson is a loadmaster from the 43rd Operations Support Squadron and is conducting a joint air delivery inspection on humanitarian supply pallets before they are air dropped over Haiti for a relief mission. The C-17, from Charleston Air Force Base, Charleston S.C., will be conducting a humanitarian air delivery mission over Haiti. U.S. Southern Command is deploying assets to Haiti to conduct search and rescue operations, damage assessments, and transitions sustained Humanitarian Assistance/Disaster Relief operations in order to prevent human suffering and additional loss of life.
