AMC provides airlift for Americans in Haiti
A C-17 Globemaster cargo aircraft laden with vehicles, water, and meals-ready-to-eat sits on the ramp at the Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Jan. 19. C-17s such as this, based out of Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, are typically used for training but have been called in to provide as many supplies to Haiti as quickly as possible.
